NBC/Telemundo Fiesta Broadway Home Depot Stage 2004

ENTERTAINMENT DESIGN SPECIALISTS: Arte Calidad Cultural Institute teaches student interns the full process of designing, constructing, prepping, painting and obtaining the appropriate permits and certificates needed for stage props, sculptures, and other items used in Stage Design, Parades, Festivals, and for Prop Rentals. Students also learn the business side of acquiring customers and managing the accounting side of the business. For the 2004-2005 year, the Entertainment component of the Institute will focus on the production of props and stage scenery for Fiesta Broadway, Pasadena Cinco de Mayo, and Festival de la Gente.

STUDENT MENTORING FOR PUBLIC PROGRAMS:Arte Calidad’s Student Mentoring Program guides students in becoming teachers themselves. Student interns will work on public Murals, Tile Projects, and other community related projects. Our goal for the 2005-2006 year is to implement three community projects.
