As formal education in arts and entertainment vanish from public schools, many youth in the community have largely wasted their existing artistic talent, as they are unable to make the leap from amateur productions to professional assignments. Arte Calidad Cultural Institute will expose these talented individuals to various media in the industrial and fine arts, and offer them full-time career opportunities in the art and entertainment industries. Creative individuals are always in demand, but many do not have the “portfolio” to apply for positions in set design, set construction, commercial mural work, commercial art, and signage, for example. Students will develop the skills necessary to move on to these lucrative positions. In addition, the demand for art education is high among parents with school-age children and classroom training will be made available to the general public; students will become teachers, and gain exposure to art instruction as another possible career. |
